Saya ada satu persoalan.
Now that little alia is 2 years old, she's now sedang cuba untuk 'bercakap'. Currently she understands us, and she can reply us back (in Malay, that is).
but when is the time to teach her english?
-just an illustration-
Someone told me that now is too early, she's eventually be confuse!
so.. saya pun tak tahu la..
but sekarang ni alia dah pandai mengira 1-10 in malay n in english.. :) sekarang tengah nak ajar ABC dan sedang cuba cari flash cards kot2 boleh ajar alia mengeja pula..
and sedang cuba nak ajar alia mewarna.. so sedang cuba cari coloring book n color pencils.. :)
so, balik kepada soalan saya:
bilakah masa terbaik untuk mengajar alia berbahasa inggeris...?

Believe me, baby won't get confuse. Remember they said, our child is like kain putih? Like a canvas. You 'draw' on it up to what u want it to be.
At this age, conversation, song listening, VCD & books is the best tools to teach them.

adalah lebih baik diajar dua bahasa sekali gus.. serentak... macam yg kami dah buat semenjak Hassan kecil... jgn risau dia confuse ke apa.. kalau dari kecik kita ajar BM BI serentak lebih bagus... dan kedua2 ibu bapa buat benda yg sama.. [mak dan ayah nye ajar BM BI serentak..]
boleh le mula bila2..
releks ajer..cakap english dgn mereka.. atau mcm akak farid n fatihah mmg tengok cenel 613 tu so dr situ mrk belajar english..
selain dr situ betul la flash card dll tu turut membantu.. good luck yer
alia dah pandai cakap eh.. mia masih pelat tp dia faham apa kita cakap.. now dah start nak belajar counting tp tu la... bersepah2 no tu jadiknyer.. hehhehe
like my kids memang dr kecik dah campur2 BI + BM..if BI my kids byk belajar dr chanel 613 Playhouse Disney tu...you name it...Thomas & Friends, mr clock, Mickey mouse etc...my kids cepat tangkap...kat umah my kids panggil ayahnye as English teacher and saya as Cikgu BM :D
