15 reasons why MSK gathering should be held at the National Science Centre

Salam..

Well, this is the special entry i was talking about! haha :)

As you all know, MySuperKids will organise a gathering on the 14th June. And all of us (yes, you too!) are invited to join in..

However, the venue is still undecided.

and apparently some mommies prefer Taman Tasik Shah Alam.. (due to its strategic location.. accessible... near their homes etc)

However, i personally think and feel that MSK Gathering should be held at Pusat Sains Negara (a.k.a. National Science Centre), at Bukit Kiara.

You know why...?

1. National Science Centre (NSC)'s main reason is to initiate life long learning in Science in each person. SO, it is not only for kids, but adults as well. err... don't you want your kids to play AND at the same time learning science as well?

2. It is said that their mission is to "memupuk minat terhadap sains" targetting from 2 years old to old citizens!

There are 2 levels (2 aras) of exhibition galleries in NSC, level 1 is mainly on Science.. Basic concept of Science.. Level 2 is on Technology.. Future and present technologies.

anyway.. I have here 15 pictorial reasons!!

Let's see....

Reason 1: There are a few rows of SCIENCE SHOWS everyday

Reason 2: Ibu Alia n Alia berposing at the Science Show stage.. (please ignore this reason..)

Reason 3: All of the exhibits are hands-on.. means that you have to something to get it going.. like here, there's a push button..

Reason 4 : besides push buttons, we also have touch screen! :)

Reason 5 : A very spacious ATRIUM, and your kids can run all over the place!

Reason 6: This is one of the gallery... the visitor is interacting with the earth quake exhibit. Yes, you can test how far can you tolerate the earth quake! :)

Reason 7: This is a Science Experiment table... you can try a few experiments here! :) and there's gonna be a facilitator to guide you.

Ok, now, we are at Little Explorer Room. this room is meant for 2-4 years old.

Reason 8 : there are so many balls here... :) (there's an activity Sort The Balls according to their sizes)

Reason 9: There's a horse! :)

Reason 10 & 11: There's a play house! (Welcome to ALia's house!) :)

Reason 12 : There are beads! (if i'm not mistaken, this toy is for hand and eye coordination..)

And now here comes the facilities...

Reason 13: An air-conditioned Surau (prayer room) and spacious too!

Reason 14 : We have 2 Auditoriums.. this one is the smaller one. can fit us to 100 people. The bigger one can fit 300 people at one time..

Reason 15 : We have 2 labs at the moment. Can conduct simple experiments here..

Not in the picture:

-we have a big hall called Multi Purpose Hall, that one is at Level 4. Would be nice to have our gathering there.. makan-makan some more.. air conditioned.. and very lapang...

-We have 2 exhibitions going on right now:

--Science Of Survival (this one you'd have to pay to enter.)

--Robot Zoo (i told you earlier, rite..?) :)

and...

we also have an outdoor park! called Science Educational Park.. so if your children like swings.. you can pay a visit here..

Fuh! i guess that's all about it..
