on 11th Hour and True Blood!

Salam.....

Well, a few hours ago, i changed the channel, from one to another.. i called it surfing the channel.. haha.. and then on HBO, there was 11th Hour!!! (maybe because today ~ wednesday, is the Earth Day!)

(sebenarnya i was a little bit excited to watch this because Leonardo Dicaprio will be talking about global warming, and all! And i am a biologist! so it is in my blood!)


But, i continued my surfing....

then on the other channel (at this part, i really forgot what channel.. 412 or 413..? Max or Star Movie...? ) ok, so on that other channel, there it was! True Blood! OMG! i couldn't choose anymore! it had to be True Blood! (sorry Leo, maybe next time, ya! *wink* ala, astro used to repeat the same movie, rite..?)

here's a few synopsis i took from the website:


Local waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), however, knows how it feels to be an outcast. "Cursed" with the ability to listen in on people's thoughts, she's also open-minded about the integration of vampires — particularly when it comes to Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), a handsome 173-year-old living up the road. But as Sookie is drawn into a series of mysteries surrounding Bill's arrival in Bon Temps, that tolerance will be put to the test.

:) ok, i had to admit, i like the 'hero' or the main character in this TV series.. both the lady (Sookie) and the guy (Bill) ... although Bill happens to be a vampire! :)

*speaking of vampire, i have yet to watch Twilight! hmm.. :( last weekend i couldn't open the file.. it stated that i have no Real Player in my lappy.. sabar je lah, kan...? :(

Ok, back to True Blood, i like the idea that people can sometimes fall in love ~ even to a handsome vampire.. :)

but what i don't understand, how can it be that vampire's blood can be a cure...?! (i saw the making of it, but still i have yet to grasp the idea unless i watched it for the next few episodes!) hehe.. :) ~ke i yg mmg x paham ni...?
