How to give medicine to small child

Salam..

When it comes to medicine, we did try a lot of ways to feed Alia.

We even bought a Munchkin Medicator! It was a great idea, actually. We just have to put in the medicine in it, and the child will swallow it through the “pacifier”. Well, she only used it like a few times only. After that, she began to become more intelligent and knew, it was medicine. And she refused to swallow! Haha... Brilliant little girl! So, we just force feed her.

Oh ya, as promised yesterday.


Here are few steps (easiest way, I think!) to feed medicine orally to Alia (or any child, I hope!)



First things first! make sure you are prepared with a shringe loaded with the medicine, some tissue paper and also a cup of plain water.



Lay her down, with one arm (left arm) wraps around her neck. And our palm / fingers hold her both hands.


Our right hand, take the shringe, and (the next step is what i mean by 'easy')


If u notice, inside the mouth, there are spaces between the tongue and the 'dinding pipi' (cheek) / the teeth.


AIM the shringe either right or left.


and just slowly 'push' the shringe, to let out the medicine.


She will have no other choice coz she won't be able to spit it out or etc.
